  • Hospitality:  Organize and oversee events to express to our staff and help create a sense of community at LOMES. Tasks generally include coordinating timing of events with school staff, obtaining supplies( food, paper products, etc- Sign-Up Genie) and scheduling parent volunteers to support set up, event execution & clean-up.
  • Teacher Appreciation:  This luncheon is sponsored by the PTO for the teachers & staff during Teacher Appreciation week in May.  The teacher appreciation coordinator plans and organizes meals and treats for teachers including lunch or dinner, holiday treats and plans events/meals for teacher appreciation week. Time commitment is about 10 hours of planning, 6 hours on events days. Work is done both at home and at school.
  • Luncheon Coordinator:   The luncheon coordinator is responsible for coordinating & planning a theme for the monthly Teacher Early Release Days. This person would also be responsible for getting volunteers to help out during those days with set-up & clean-up
  • Character Breakfast:  This person is responsible for conducting a character breakfast for students & their parents 4 times per year so that children will be recognized for displaying certain character traits within their classroom & school. Our 5th graders will be available to assist with character breakfast this year!!
